Benign Recurrent Sixth Nerve Palsy
Benign recurrent sixth nerve palsy is a condition where acquired abducens palsy develops on two or more occasions. The condition usually resolves within several months. Patients appear otherwise normal with no other neurologic abnormalities or lesions. Benign sixth nerve palsy is a rare condition with recurrence of episodes being even less common. The following is a case of benign recurrent sixth nerve palsy in a young child who developed three episodes within two years.
