Treatment of Amblyopia: Occlusion Therapy
Paula M. Edelman, C.O.
There can be no argument when discussing the need for early detection of amblyopia. The earlier the amblyopia is detected and successfully treated, the better the outcome for the patient. Yet, controversy still exists concerning the most effective means of eradicating amblyopia. It is the purpose of this paper to propose that occlusion therapy is the most effective choice in the treatment of amblyopia.
