Clinical Presentation of Congenital Fibrosis and Double Elevator Palsy
Carol F. Dickey, C.O.
Congenital fibrosis syndrome and double elevator palsy are dissimilar disorders which fall under the same general diagnostic category. Congenital fibrosis is a bilateral condition which produces a severe limitation of motility. Double elevator palsy is a unilateral condition which may be the result of restriction, extraocular muscle weakness or a supranuclear lesion.
