Duane Syndrome: Clinical Presentation
Lindreth G. DuBois, M.Ed., C.O., C.O.M.T. Duane retraction Syndrome is a myriad of congenital ocular motility abnormalities affecting globe rotation and globe and lid position. A brief review of the characteristics and classifications are presented. Other retraction syndromes (Pseudo-Duane syndrome) which do not fit Huber's classifications are discussed as well as the fusion status of people with Duane Syndrome.
