The Role of Orthoptic Therapy in Exodeviations: A Basis for Orthoptic Referral

Leslie Weingeist France, C.O.

Methods of orthoptic management of patients with exodeviations are explored. A literature review and case examples are included and preferences for particular methods of therapy are identified from a survey sent to 150 orthoptists. Therapeutic minus lenses, prisms, occlusion and exercises are included in the list of treatment modalities available to the orthoptist.
